The tank is made from 3003-O soft aluminum, this allows for stretching during impact instead of breaking, like associated hard alloys. This tank also has a high quality cap that seals with an o-ring instead of a flat gasket. The tank is  gas welded to the highest standards! These tanks are designed to fit behind the seat and slightly extend into the baggage compartment. Pipe threaded fittings are provided to make the tank universal for sight gauges, remote filling, interconnections, venting ect.
